The World Healthcare Forum declaration draft was formulated and presented by an international body of young professionals under the direction and leadership of Dr. John Finnegan, Dean of the University of Minnesota School of Public Health. The insights in the current declaration were generated from 76 presentations during the course of the 2016 World Healthcare Forum. Action points are organized into five general categories.
The declaration will be renewed during the course of the 2018 World Healthcare Forum. We aim to identitify actoin points per discussed theme. Outcomes & actions for the declaration per theme will be presented before the closing keynote at April 17th.
The World Healthcare Forum Foundation was first created in 2012 by Jan Verhoef (CEO) and Harm Snippe (CFO). Our Foundation was founded to improve global healthcare with the universal goal of creating affordable healthcare for everyone. The forum wants to reach this goal by connecting leaders in the world of health from all over the world. It is not only the question what has to happen, but also how this should be implemented.
More than just a forum
World Healthcare Forum
In 2018, our Forum is more than a Forum – it is a movement throughout the year, aimed at connecting our partners with the goal of creating teams that commit themselves to work together to address key healthcare challenges. Their commitment will be captured in the world healthcare forum declaration of the Hague, to be signed April 17th, 2018, in the Hague, The Netherlands.
